AI Usage Policy

Last updated: August 2026

We believe in being upfront about how our content gets made — including the role AI tools play in it.

How We Use AI

AI tools may assist with research, organizing information, drafting, and editing. This helps us cover more ground for our readers while keeping a small, focused team.

AI is a starting point, not a final product. Every article published on WiseStepDaily is reviewed by a human before it goes live, and no article is published based solely on unreviewed AI output.

What Human Review Means

Our review process checks every article for:

  • Accuracy — factual claims and figures are checked against credible sources
  • Usefulness — does the article actually answer the reader’s question, in a way they can act on?
  • Clarity — is it written in plain, natural English a general reader can follow?
  • Source quality — are the sources behind any statistics or claims ones we’d trust ourselves?

For topics involving health, personal finance, or other decisions with real consequences, we apply additional source verification and editorial review before publishing. See our Editorial Policy for details on that process.

What We Don’t Do

  • We don’t publish AI-generated content that hasn’t been reviewed and edited by a person.
  • We don’t present made-up personal experiences as real. When we describe first-hand testing or experience, it reflects testing or experience that actually took place. Where relevant, we note when the testing was conducted and which tools or versions were used.
  • We don’t use AI to mass-produce low-value pages aimed at manipulating search rankings. Our goal is to publish articles worth reading, not to publish as many pages as possible.

Why We’re Telling You This

AI is now part of how a lot of content gets made across the web, and we’d rather be clear about our own process than let readers guess. If you have questions about how a specific article was put together, you can reach us at hello@wisestepdaily.com.
